Fundraisers

Please check out fundraisers as they take place throughout the school year. Please remember the money earned from the fundraisers are necessary to help pay for expenses of the HHS Band. When you and your student participate in these fundraisers, they are not only helping the Band, but they are also helping put money in the student incentive accounts at school.

BEST IN CLASS - 2 IN A ROW!!!

HHS BAND NEWS!:
Congratulations to the Hueytown High School Band for earning the “Best in Class” award in 3A category on Saturday, October 24th at the Pinson Valley Band Competition. They received “Superior Rating” and was the highest scoring Band! We are so proud of the color guard and band!!!! They all did GREAT!!!

HHS Band Trip Announcement - CHICAGO!

$125 Deposit due Tuesday, 10/20/09!!!

Travel with the HUEYTOWN HIGH SCHOOL BAND to MUSIC IN THE PARKS, CHICAGO, IL Wednesday, April 28 thru Sunday, May 2, 2010.

To reserve your spot, each student and chaperone must send a deposit of $125 to Mrs. Brantley by Tuesday, October 20th. The deposit is non-refundable and will secure your spot for the trip. We'll be sending further details about the trip and the remaining payment deadlines soon.

DECEMBER 8TH - CHICAGO TRIP PAYMENT DUE:
Next payment of $125 for our Chicago trip is due on December 8th! Final payment is due March 2nd. Make all checks payable to Hueytown Band Association.

DECEMBER 10TH, 11TH, 12TH - UAB HONOR BAND AUDITIONS:
The UAB Honor Band Auditions will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 1:00 to 5:30.

DECEMBER 12TH - CHRISTMAS PARADE:
The band will be performing in the Hueytown Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 12th. The parade begins at 10:00 AM. The band members will meet at the stadium, fully dressed in their band uniforms and Santa hats.

DECEMBER 15TH - CHRISTMAS CONCERT:
The band will be performing their Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 15th at 7:00 PM at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

JANUARY 22ND (2010) - BAND BANQUET (TENTATIVE):
The annual band banquet will be held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. We will need people to volunteer for the following:

* Decorations/Setup
* Servers
* Cleanup
